Job summary

LightEdge is expanding its Procurement team to support data center development, equipment sourcing, and facilities services. The Senior Procurement Manager will lead strategic sourcing for electrical and mechanical gear, negotiate with suppliers, and drive repeatable procurement practices.

The role partners with Engineering, Facilities, Operations, Finance, and Legal to enable new builds, expansions, and ongoing operations with emphasis on risk management and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of progressive experience in procurement and strategic sourcing.
• Experience sourcing electrical or mechanical equipment and construction or facilities services.
• Working knowledge of critical power, cooling, and facility infrastructure.
• Experience negotiating equipment purchase agreements, maintenance contracts, and SOWs.
• Understanding of long-lead equipment procurement, supplier capacity, and lifecycle costs.

Responsibilities

• Capital Equipment and Construction Procurement: source data center equipment and services.
• Lead RFIs/RFPs, bid evaluations, negotiations, and award recommendations.
• Evaluate total cost of ownership including installation, maintenance, and warranties.
• Develop supplier relationships, agreements, and standardized equipment across projects.
• Manage projections, supplier milestones, risks, and commercial issues with teams.
