Job summary

7Seventy seeks a Staff Data Analyst to provide high-impact analytical support to operations, product, and executive leadership. You will translate complex data into strategic recommendations driving growth, margin, and retention, acting as a trusted advisor beyond dashboards.

You will leverage Python, SQL, Jupyter Notebooks, Streamlit, dbt, and cloud data warehouses, integrating AI-assisted development and workflow automation to speed insights while ensuring data quality and governance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in analytical, decision science, or advanced BI roles.
• Proven ability to influence senior leadership with data.
• Strong Python skills with Pandas and NumPy for analysis.
• Experience building lightweight data apps or dashboards (Streamlit).
• Experience with dbt for data modeling and cloud data warehouses (BigQuery/Snowflake).

Responsibilities

• Translate complex findings into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decisions and strategy.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, and value.
• Develop exploratory analyses using Jupyter Notebooks to test hypotheses.
• Create lightweight reporting tools and self-service reports using Python/Streamlit/BigQuery.
