Job summary

UKG is seeking a Principal, Data/Analytics and Benchmarking to build the analytical foundation for enterprise planning and performance management. You will define decision-relevant metrics, collect data, develop models and dashboards, and combine internal performance data with external benchmarks to generate executive-ready insights and recommendations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in enterprise business operations, data analytics, data science, strategic finance, or a related quantitative field.
• Advanced analytical proficiency with Excel and data querying, modeling, or visualization tools.
• Experience translating complex analyses into executive-ready narratives and visuals.
• Experience with SaaS, enterprise software, workforce technology, or comparable business models.

Responsibilities

• Define the data, analytics, and benchmarking roadmap for enterprise planning and transformation.
• Establish consistent metric definitions, calculation logic, data sources, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Systems, Finance, and relevant teams to reconcile source data.
• Conduct internal and external benchmarking to identify performance gaps and opportunities.
• Build analytical models, dashboards, and scorecards revealing trends and drivers.
• Translate analyses into executive-ready narratives and visuals with recommendations.
• Resolve data quality issues and strengthen governance for key metrics.
• Lead high-priority ad-hoc analyses with defensible recommendations.
