Job summary

UKG is seeking a Principal, Data/Analytics and Benchmarking to establish the analytics foundation for enterprise planning and performance management. You will define metrics, gather data, build models and dashboards, and blend internal data with external benchmarks to guide executive decisions.

Lead data quality governance, collaborate with Finance and Enterprise Systems, and deliver rapid, high-impact analyses to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Advanced analytical proficiency with Excel and data querying, modeling, or visualization tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python.
• Proven ability to convert analyses into executive-ready presentations and action-oriented recommendations.
• Experience with SaaS, enterprise software, or workforce technology performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Define the data, analytics, and benchmarking roadmap for enterprise planning and transformation.
• Establish consistent metric definitions, calculations, data sources, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Systems, Finance, and functions to collect and reconcile data.
• Conduct benchmarking to identify gaps and improvement opportunities across functions and processes.
• Build models, dashboards, and scorecards to reveal trends and drivers for investments.
• Translate analyses into executive-ready narratives and visuals.
• Partner to resolve data quality issues and governance for core metrics.
• Lead high-priority ad-hoc analyses and provide defensible recommendations.
