Job summary

UKG is seeking a Principal of Data/Analytics and Benchmarking to build the analytics foundation for enterprise planning and performance decisions. You will define metrics, collect data, and create models and dashboards, combining internal performance data with external benchmarks to generate executive-ready insights.

You will collaborate with Finance and other functions to ensure data quality, governance, and timely delivery of strategic analyses for senior leaders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise analytics, data science, or related field.
• Experience using external benchmarks to diagnose performance and guide strategy.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and data querying, modeling or visualization tools.
• Experience leveraging AI to automate reporting and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Define data, analytics, and benchmarking roadmap for enterprise planning.
• Establish metric definitions, data sources, and documentation for transparency.
• Collaborate with Finance and Enterprise Systems to reconcile data sources.
• Develop benchmarking to identify performance gaps and best practices.
• Build models, dashboards, and scorecards for decision support.
• Translate analyses into executive-ready narratives and visuals.
• Lead ad-hoc analyses and deliver defensible recommendations on tight timelines.
