Cardinal Health at Home Solutions in Madison, WI is seeking a Data Analyst to partner with operations leadership through data preparation, reporting, and analytics. You will extract, cleanse, consolidate, and visualize financial and operational data to provide timely, accurate insights for decision-making.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in data analysis, strong SQL, and experience with Power BI or Tableau, Python or R, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, preferred
• 4+ years of experience in data analysis, or a related role, preferred
• Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis, preferred
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, etc) preferred
• Experience with other data analysis tools (e.g. Alteryx) and/or programming languages (e.g., Python, R), Proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner

Responsibilities

• Apply comprehensive knowledge of analytical concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to independently perform complex analyses and large-scale projects
• Extract, transform, and consolidate financial and operational data from multiple source systems (ERP, operational systems, external files, etc), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency through validation and quality controls
• Develop, validate, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) as well as conduct ad hoc analyses to provide senior management with critical business insights
• Proactively develop a deep understanding of enterprise data and business processes and analyze complex datasets to identify trends, issues, and opportunities
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, streamline reporting processes, and develop innovative solutions that advance organizational objectives
• Partner with cross‑functional teams, including Finance, Operations, Revenue Cycle Management and IT, to ensure data alignment and accuracy while effectively collaborating with non‑technical stakeholders
• May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues and contribute to a collaborative, knowledge‑sharing environment
