Job summary

Definitive Healthcare seeks a Data and AI Governance Lead to define and oversee our governance architecture across data ecosystems and AI initiatives. You will coordinate across legal, privacy, compliance, and IT teams to translate risk into clear, actionable policies and enable safe enterprise AI adoption.

In this role you will establish an enterprise-wide data classification framework, oversee data cataloging and lineage, and drive data quality and observability.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in data and AI governance, data management, or enterprise data compliance.
• Hands-on knowledge governing data within Databricks environment, with Unity Catalog for lineage and access management.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, Generative AI, Agentic AI, vector search, and secure RAG structures.

Responsibilities

• Direct the design and operation of a centralized corporate AI Trust Center.
• Enforce Responsible AI standards to mitigate bias, hallucination, and IP leakage.
• Build an evaluation framework for inbound AI initiatives based on value, readiness, and risk.
