Job summary

Scale AI in San Francisco is seeking a Data Acquisition Lead to own the commercial motion end to end. You will identify which data domains to pursue and drive deals from outreach to signature, while coordinating with legal and research teams on pricing and data value.

The role requires a hands-on operator capable of building a repeatable pipeline and navigating fast-moving, ambiguous environments. You will engage with senior stakeholders and external partners to accelerate Scale's data strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years across some mix of business development, corp dev, commercial strategy, or early-stage GTM.

Responsibilities

• Map the supply side from labs to data holders and build a thesis on domains worth owning.
• Invent deal structures with Scale’s legal team to define pricing for the first versions.
• Close deals from cold outreach to signature.
• Coordinate with the technical side to discuss data trainability and value.
• Build a repeatable data-acquisition pipeline from initial work.
