Job summary

Steampunk seeks a Cybersecurity Integration Engineer to design and maintain secure integrations across enterprise cybersecurity, operations, and data platforms. You will connect systems via APIs, automate workflows, and build data pipelines to enhance cyber hygiene and operational visibility.

Responsibilities include API development (REST/SOAP), dashboarding with Power BI, and collaboration across security, IT, and business teams.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Security Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise system integrations.
• Experience with REST and SOAP API development/consumption.
• Experience with modern software engineering and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience building dashboards and reporting for cybersecurity operations (Power BI/ServiceNow/Splunk/Excel).
• Experience integrating cybersecurity, infra, cloud, identity, asset, and ITSM platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure integrations across enterprise cybersecurity, operational, and business systems.
• Develop and support REST and SOAP API integrations between enterprise platforms.
• Build and maintain automated data pipelines consolidating information from multiple enterprise data sources.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and consolidated operational views for cybersecurity posture and metrics.
• Integrate cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, identity management, asset management, and IT service management platforms.
• Design and implement automated workflows using ServiceNow, SharePoint, Splunk, Power BI, or similar.
• Correlate data to support incident detection, response, and risk prioritization.
• Develop automation solutions to improve efficiency and support DevSecOps.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity operations teams to improve cyber hygiene.
• Provide technical documentation for integration architectures, APIs, workflows, and processes.
• Assist with testing, validation, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• Stay current on emerging integration technologies and cybersecurity trends.
