Job summary

Encoder Products Company seeks a Network and Security Specialist to implement and maintain endpoint security, monitor posture, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks. The role supports AD, cloud identity, VPN, and server infrastructure, with day shifts on-site in Idaho.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Network Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
3+ years of security or network support experience
5+ years of enterprise IT support or endpoint administration experience a plus
Experience supporting cloud environments including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
Experience with PowerShell automation and scripting
Knowledge of virtualization technologies and enterprise storage solutions
Familiarity with manufacturing, aerospace, or regulated industries
Experience supporting cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, CMMC, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls
Certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Network+, MS Endpoint Administrator, Azure Administrator, CISSP/GIAC) preferred

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain endpoint security solutions including antivirus, EDR/XDR, encryption, and vulnerability management
Monitor endpoint security posture and remediate vulnerabilities in line with company policies and CMMC guidance
Ensure endpoints remain compliant with cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements
Assist with incident response activities involving endpoint compromise or suspicious activity
Develop and enforce endpoint hardening standards and security baselines
Support Active Directory, identity management, group policies, DNS, DHCP, and authentication services
Assist with cloud identity management and endpoint integration
Support networking equipment, wireless infrastructure, VPN technologies, and remote access solutions
Participate in server administration and infrastructure modernization initiatives
Support collaboration systems
Assist with disaster recovery planning and business continuity related to endpoints
Collaborate with teams to translate technical needs into business-friendly solutions
Communicate project status to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Balance business priorities with security requirements and resources
Provide customer service and technical guidance to end users and leadership
Support organizational technology initiatives and digital transformation projects
Other duties to support the infrastructure team leader and MIS goals
