US Mobile seeks a Chief Technology Officer in New York City to own the technology vision and engineering execution behind our platform. You will unify frontend and backend teams into one coherent strategy and sit at the executive table with the CEO and founders.

Lead architecture, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, security, and production reliability while mentoring engineers and shaping a culture of ownership, speed, and excellence.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams or technology organizations.
• Strong fundamentals in software engineering and hands-on development.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, architecture, databases, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience operating production systems at scale.
• Ability to partner with executive leadership across functions.

Responsibilities

• Define and own technology vision and long-term roadmap.
• Unify frontend and backend organizations into one architecture and strategy.
• Lead architecture, deployment, and scaling of the platform with hands-on review.
• Own cloud infrastructure, DevOps, security, observability, and reliability.
• Build and mentor engineering talent, including leads and teams.
• Set standards, processes, and a culture of ownership and excellence.
• Measure engineering productivity, reliability, and quality.
• Evaluate new technologies and AI capabilities for business value.
• Represent technical vision to customers, partners, and investors.
