Job summary

First Mid Insurance Group seeks a Chief Revenue Officer to lead revenue growth across insurance offerings within the First Mid family. You will align with banking strategies, drive cross-sell, and nurture client relationships to deepen engagement across both bank and agency touchpoints.

The role requires executive leadership to manage sales teams, partnerships, and performance metrics while maintaining a customer-centric service culture in a community banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of leadership experience in insurance, banking, or a combined financial services environment.
• Proven success in driving revenue growth within a relationship-based, referral-driven model.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a revenue growth strategy aligned with strategic objectives.
• Directly manage and develop insurance team members and implement sales processes.
• Identify opportunities to expand insurance offerings within the bank’s customer base.
• Partner with executive leadership to drive integrated financial services solutions.
• Build partnerships with banking and wealth management to drive referrals.
• Design cross-sell strategies embedding insurance into the customer lifecycle.
• Lead agency sales and talent acquisition across lines (P&C, benefits, life).
• Oversee producer performance, pipeline management, and sales effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with banking and insurance regulations.
