Job summary

• Extensive knowledge of credit analysis, banking regulations and bank policies.
• Ability to analyze complex commercial loan requests and make sound lending decisions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with executive leadership to align credit policies with the bank’s business objectives.
• Oversee the development and implementation of formal procedures for the credit administration department, including an accurate loan risk rating process.
• Monitor activities and reports to ensure timely completion of commercial credit reviews and loan processing.
• Mitigate risk from documentation deficiencies, policy violations, or misrepresentation.
• Review and revise loan policy with Board approval and annual ratification.
• Provide guidance on loan documentation and compliance, coordinating with legal counsel if needed.
• Hire, develop, and coach staff within Credit Administration.
