Job summary

Farmers Home Furniture is seeking a Credit & AR Supervisor to coordinate accounts receivable, approve or decline credit lines, and oversee collection efforts. You will investigate financial status, set credit limits, and partner with store management to minimize losses while growing receivables.

You will lead AR staff, document communications, and enforce company procedures for delinquent accounts, including pre-legal steps and coordination with attorneys as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three (3) years experience in accounting/bookkeeping, loan processing, and/or collections.
• Must possess and maintain a valid State Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Oversees accounts receivable and collection activities.
• Reviews and evaluates credit applications; verifies financial status and sets credit limits.
• Contacts delinquent customers and enforces collection procedures to recover amounts due.
• Documents all communications and activities related to credit decisions.
