Job summary

Farmers Home Furniture is seeking an Accounts Receivable and Credit Manager to coordinate, oversee, and improve credit operations across the store. The role focuses on approving or declining lines of credit, reviewing financial status, and ensuring compliant credit procedures.

You will contact delinquent customers, pursue payment with set terms, and maintain accurate files. The position requires leadership of AR staff, adherence to policy, and timely reporting on collections performance and risk

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 3 years in accounting/bookkeeping, loan processing, and/or collections.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff and oversees credit operations.
• Reviews and evaluates credit applications and sets credit limits.
• Contacts customers to collect overdue payments and issues notices.
• Ensures proper documentation and filing of customer files.
• Prepares paperwork for legal action for severely delinquent accounts.
