Job summary

Tapestry, the global house of brands including Coach and Kate Spade New York, is seeking a Credit Analyst to assess creditworthiness of customers and vendors, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance with credit policies. You will partner with AR, Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, Operations, and Finance to manage credit decisions and order release.

The role emphasizes analyzing financial statements, establishing credit limits, monitoring exposure, and supporting reporting and audits.

Qualifications

Knowledge of financial statement analysis and commercial credit practices.
Experience with accounts receivable processes is a plus.
Understanding of order release, credit holds, and payment terms.

Responsibilities

Review creditworthiness of new and existing customers and vendors using financial statements and credit reports.
Assist with establishing credit limits and risk mitigation measures.
Monitor credit exposure and alert on deteriorating conditions.
Review and release blocked sales orders according to policy.
Collaborate with AR, Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, Operations and Finance on credit decisions and collections.
Prepare recurring credit reports and monitor aging and disputes.
Support credit procedures, audits, and process improvements; perform ad hoc journal entries.
