Tapestry, Inc. is seeking a Credit Analyst in New York to evaluate creditworthiness of customers and vendors, support order releases, and ensure compliance with credit policies. You will work with Accounts Receivable, Sales, and Finance to manage credit risk and reporting.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance related fields and 3+ years in credit or AR. Proficiency with SAP and strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of financial statement analysis, commercial credit practices, collections, and Accounts receivable processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret payment trends, credit exposure, aging data, and credit reports.
• SOX compliance, internal controls, audit processes, and proper credit documentation.
• Experience with SAP and credit, accounts receivable, collections, or reporting tools.

Responsabilités

• Review the creditworthiness of new and existing customers and vendors by analyzing financial statements and payment history.
• Establish appropriate credit limits and risk mitigation measures, including prepayment terms and letters of credit for higher risk customers.
• Monitor credit exposure and alert the Credit Manager to deteriorating conditions or risks.
• Review and release blocked sales orders daily per policy and approvals.
• Collaborate with AR, Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, Operations, and Finance to resolve credit-related issues.
