Job summary

Capital One Brand Creative seeks an experienced, innovative creative leader to drive world-class strategies across print and digital channels. You will manage teams of Art Directors, Designers and Copywriters, inspiring bold, evidence-based marketing that is on-brand and results-driven.

You will collaborate with strategists and internal clients to shape customer experiences, translate insights into creative executions, and build strong cross-functional partnerships to keep Brand Creative ahead

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
• At least 3 years of experience leading creative teams.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Creative Director.
• Experience at a Fortune 100 brand.
• 2+ years of experience leveraging emerging AI technology such as Gemini or Claude.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the team to develop strategically-grounded, insight-driven creative.
• Manage creative talent including a mix of full-time associates, contractors, and agencies.
• Empower full-time associates through coaching and career development.
• Collaborate with marketing strategists and internal clients to inform strategy and customer experience.
• Translate business intent into creative strategies and executions that market products effectively.
• Interpret market research and tests to focus targeted marketing messages.
• Build relationships with partner groups to address obstacles and position Brand Creative as a strategic thought partner.
• Present and influence to increase buy-in and open opportunities for the team and department.
