Zeta Charter Schools in New York is seeking a Controller who is a CPA with a Bachelor's Degree and at least 7 years of accounting leadership experience. You will lead our accounting function to ensure financial freedom and flexibility to support world-class programming for our students.

The Finance and Accounting Team steers financial operations to sustain existing schools, open new campuses, and grow toward our ambitious goals. This role reports to the leadership and collaborates across teams.

Qualifications

• CPA with Bachelor's Degree and at least 7 years of accounting leadership experience.
• Experience leading accounting functions and financial reporting.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and manage audits.

Responsabilités

• Lead the accounting function to ensure financial freedom and flexibility.
• Oversee budgeting, reporting, and financial statements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage payroll, purchasing, and grants administration.
• Support lean scaling with cross-team collaboration.
