Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group seeks a seasoned Controller to lead the accounting function for a rapidly growing, multi-location organization. This hands-on leader will manage close, reporting, treasury, tax, and technical accounting while building a scalable team.

The role requires deep U.S. GAAP knowledge, strong operational leadership, and the ability to translate financial data into strategic insights for executive leadership across fast-paced expansion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Active CPA license required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Extensive U.S. GAAP knowledge including ASC 606/842, deferred revenue, and equity accounting.
• Experience leading monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and audits.
• Strong internal controls, process improvement, and accounting policy development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations, financial close, reporting, treasury, and tax compliance.
• Lead annual financial statement audits and manage external auditor relationships.
• Develop scalable accounting policies and internal controls for multi-location growth.
• Partner with FP&A for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Drive automation, system improvements, and AI-enabled finance initiatives.
