Job summary

Life Flight Network (LFN), a not-for-profit air medical transport service, offers a Senior Associate General Counsel role in its in-house Legal and Compliance Department. This hybrid position is based at LFN's Aurora, Oregon headquarters; candidates may need to come to the office regularly and relocation is encouraged.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited institution.
• Active bar membership in good standing (Oregon bar after hire).
• 8+ years of progressive legal experience, including in-house or senior advisory roles.
• Experience in corporate law and complex contracting in regulated industries.
• Leadership in strategic transactions (M&A, JVs, affiliations).
• Advanced drafting, negotiation, and risk assessment skills.
• Proven leadership and ability to mentor others.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of complex contracts and agreements.
• Advise executive leadership on legal risks, regulatory obligations, and compliance.
• Lead or support strategic transactions, including due diligence and documentation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to advance organizational objectives.
• Manage outside counsel and legal spend for cost-conscious representation.
• Develop and improve legal policies, templates, and playbooks.
