Job summary

Northrop Grumman invites qualified professionals to join our Magna, UT team as a Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst. This onsite role focuses on cost control, budgeting, and scheduling for defense contracts within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years professional work experience or Master’s Degree
• Master’s Degree and 3+ years professional work experience
• Microsoft Office experience, including MS Excel, will be needed for the role
• Financial or accounting experience

Responsibilities

• Setting up cost control system, monitoring and controlling costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
• Performing analyses and preparing reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated parameters
• Preparing budgets and schedules for contract work and performing financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis
• Preparing program plans to ensure program requirements and SOW are captured and scheduled
• Monitoring funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures and preparing expenditure projections
• Incorporating contractual changes into control systems by tracking outstanding work and maintaining baselines
• Performing monthly financial reporting/forecasting and quarterly EACs
• Continually improving financial reporting processes to enhance efficiencies
