Triton Environmental Consultants, Ltd. is seeking a Cost & Operations Analyst to manage product cost records, perform monthly cost rollups, and prepare cost estimates for new products.

You will analyze cost differences between manufacturing options and identify opportunities for cost improvements while collaborating with internal teams and external partners. Responsibilities include month-end inventory close, variance analysis, reporting, and supporting demand planning.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• 2-5 years of work experience in operations and/or production cost analysis in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing costs and cost accounting.
• Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Perform month end duties to ensure proper and timely close of inventory.
• Participate in month end close activities, including creating journal entries and reconciling inventory.
• Prepare and analyze monthly cost variance and inventory reports.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and operational efficiencies.
• Monitor inventory levels, demand forecasts, and supply plans to ensure product availability.
• Support demand planning and inventory optimization initiatives.
• Analyze results and provide recommendations to management to monitor division performance and control operating costs.
• Prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested by business partners.
• Support financial and internal audit requests.
• Maintain accurate record of actual and expected product cost.
• Execute monthly cost rollup in ERP system and highlight reasons for cost changes.
• Track, report and interpret costing trends for leadership.
