Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Cost Analyst to join our finance team in Richardson, TX. You will lead cost accounting initiatives, support financial reporting, and drive data-driven decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment serving military and industrial markets.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of cost analysis experience, a Bachelor’s in Finance, strong ERP and Excel/BI skills, and a solid understanding of GAAP with SOX/internal controls experience. On-site role with US citizenship required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
• 5–10 years of Cost Analyst experience within manufacturing.
• DoD industry experience a plus.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP) and advanced Excel/BI tools.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and SOX.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cost accounting analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial performance.
• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts and transactions using ERP systems.
• Prepare financial reports, including variance analyses, budgets, and cash flow assessments using Excel/BI tools.
• Monitor expenses, analyze trends, and implement cost-control measures aligned with GAAP.
• Support pricing/proposals reviews and government cost/pricing audits (DCMA/DCAA).
