Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Two years accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures.
• Knowledge of financial accounting statements.
• Experience with general ledger functions.
• Advanced Excel skills with data analysis & reporting.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Controls – develop, manage, and improve inventory control procedures.
• Product Costing – establish and maintain costs for finished goods including material, labor, and overhead.
• Customer Account Support – monitor balances and assist with payment issues.
• Cost Impact Analysis – evaluate financial impact of changes on costs and margins.
• Physical Inventory & Cycle Counts – assist with inventories and investigate discrepancies.
• Purchase Price Monitoring – identify price changes impacting costs.
• Financial Close – participate in month-end/year-end close and reconciliations.
• Management Reporting – prepare ad hoc financial and operational reports.
• Audit Support – assist with schedules and reconciliations for audits.
• Continuous Improvement – identify improvements to accounting and reporting systems.
• Internal Controls – maintain and enhance controls for data integrity.
• Other Responsibilities – support accounting projects as needed.
