MetaOption LLC is seeking a Cost Accountant to manage inventory controls, establish reliable product costing, and support financial reporting. You will help with reconciliations, cycle counts, and period-end close, while working with Purchasing and other teams to assess cost impacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Two years accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Excel skills and data analysis
• Strong knowledge of general ledger and financial statements
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities and problem solving

Responsabilités

• Inventory controls development and improvement to ensure accurate records and valuation.
• Costing for manufactured and purchased goods including labor, materials, and overhead.
• Assist in accounts receivable activities and customer account monitoring.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes with reconciliations and journal entries.
• Prepare ad hoc management reports from operational and financial data.
• Assist with internal controls and process improvements across cost accounting and inventory.

Formation

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Two years accounting experience in a manufacturing environment

Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures

Knowledge of financial accounting statements

Experience with general ledger functions

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook

Strong aptitude for numbers

Strong analytical skills

Attention to detail

Self-motivation and problem solving

Ability to work independently and in a team

Strong verbal and written communication skills
