Velocity Restorations LLC is seeking a Cost Accountant to analyze costs across production, establish standard costs, and advise leadership on cost optimization. You will partner with Engineering and Production to maintain BOMs, track labor, and report variances.

This is an individual contributor role in our Cantonment, FL facility, offering growth and exposure to GAAP-compliant financial processes. The position emphasizes collaborating with cross-functional teams, improving cost data accuracy,

Qualifications

• 3+ years cost accounting in manufacturing or job shop.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills for large data sets.
• Hands-on experience with BOMs, routers, and standard costing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze fixed and variable costs to determine margins and performance.
• Set and maintain standard costs for manufactured goods.
• Maintain BOMs/routers in collaboration with Engineering and Production.
• Capture labor costs and relate floor activity to cost records.
• Analyze variances and report margin by vehicle/program.
• Forecast cost changes and support quarterly/annual planning.
• Assist month-end close and general ledger reconciliations.
• Collaborate with executives on costing methodologies and reporting.
