Job summary

Kratos Defense & Rocket Support Services Division is seeking a Business Financial Analyst/Estimator to support a growing program portfolio across the U.S. The role develops and analyzes cost estimates for government and industry proposals, ensuring compliance and high quality.

You will assist bid strategy, pricing decisions, and negotiations while maintaining meticulous records. The position requires a degree in business, accounting, finance, or STEM, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or STEM with exposure to proposals, cost estimating, contracts, and/or pricing.
• Ability to perform and apply cost accounting, pricing, and estimating concepts and principles.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a challenging, multi-tasking environment while managing multiple proposals with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Prior knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and estimating guidelines preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel experience and Deltek exposure also preferred.
• Drive for continuous improvement in personal skills and business processes.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Strong, clear communication skills to influence decision making and stakeholder buy‑in.
• Strategic and analytical abilities to problem‑solve and develop creative solutions to proposal capture opportunities.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain DoD clearance.
