Job summary

CSP (Teijin Automotive Technologies) in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a senior cost accountant to own BOM cost structures and standard costing. You will lead cost rolls, quantify ECC impacts, and drive variances analysis across materials, freight, and labor against forecasts in a fast-paced automotive setting.

Responsibilities extend to PPV analysis, supplier cost dashboards, and cost reduction validation in partnership with Purchasing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in accounting/finance or related field.
• CPA/CMA preferred for senior cost roles.
• Automotive Tier 1 supplier experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own BOM and routing cost structures, ensuring accuracy and auditability.
• Lead standard cost development and cost rolls.
• Quantify cost impacts for ECC changes and update timely.
• Analyze material, freight, manufacturing methods, and absorption variances.
• Drive material and freight planning and cost analysis.
• Lead labor rate and overhead rate calculation processes.
• Maintain cost set integrity across ERP systems.
• Own PPV analysis, tracking, and forecasting.
• Develop and maintain material cost index dashboards.
• Conduct deep-dive cost analysis on direct material and MRO spend.
• Create and monitor supplier risk heatmaps.
• Partner with Purchasing on cost reduction validation.
