Job summary

CSP Innovations, Inc. in Auburn Hills, MI, seeks an experienced Purchasing professional to lead supplier selection, negotiate long-term agreements, and source materials for automotive programs.

You will collaborate with Engineering and CSP plants to meet program requirements. The role requires a BA/BS, a minimum of ten years in automotive purchasing (composites/metals preferred), and strong knowledge of QAD SE/EE ERP.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required; business concentration preferred.
• Minimum of ten years of automotive purchasing experience, preferably in composites or metallics.
• Experience with QAD SE or EE ERP system.
• Knowledge of IATF-16949 requirements and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and choose sources for production components/materials.
• Develop Long Term Agreements with suppliers.
• Place purchase orders with suppliers (via QAD EE).
• Manage pricing at a corporate level for plants.
• Identify and execute cost savings opportunities.
• Support CSP facilities in supplier issue resolution and lead negotiations as needed.
• Build strong relationships with CSP facilities and suppliers.
• Collaborate with Engineering to understand program requirements.
• Coordinate Engineering Changes and participate in program kickoff meetings.
• Ensure duties and timelines are met across Sales, Engineering, CSP plants, and suppliers.
• Contribute to development of new or enhanced purchasing policy and procedures.
