Job summary

Teijin Automotive Technologies is seeking an experienced Purchasing professional to develop long-term supplier agreements, issue POs via QAD EE, and manage pricing at a corporate level for CSP plants in North America. The role requires extensive automotive buying experience, especially in composites or metallics, and deep knowledge of IATF-16949.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required, business concentration preferred.
• Minimum ten years of automotive purchasing experience, composites or metallics is ideal.
• Strong experience with QAD SE or EE ERP system is required.
• Knowledge of IATF-16949 requirements and procedures is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Develop Long Term Agreements with suppliers and place purchase orders via QAD EE.
• Manage pricing at a corporate level for CSP plants and identify cost savings opportunities.
• Collaborate with CSP facilities to resolve supplier issues and lead negotiations.
• Work with Engineering and CSP plants to align on program requirements and changes.
• Travel up to 15% domestically and 5% internationally.
• Support supplier audits and ensure conformance to customer requirements.
