Job summary

Landis+Gyr AG in Kentucky is seeking a Cost Analytics Manager focused on accuracy and rigor for costing and quoting complex customer solutions. This role owns cost and pricing models that underlie our commercial proposals and supports faster quote and contracting cycles.

You will establish data-driven methodologies, refresh models every six months, identify cost drivers, improve quoting systems, and partner with sales to develop complex proposals while maintaining high-margin performance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in cost analysis, pricing, commercial operations, or financial/data analytics.
• Strong quantitative and data-analytics skills, including building and maintaining cost or pricing models.
• Experience supporting complex proposals, quoting, or contracting in a B2B environment.
• Ability to translate cost drivers into clear commercial recommendations for non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Establish and operate a data-driven methodology for managing and projecting solution cost.
• Own, maintain, and refresh cost models on a cadence (at minimum every six months).
• Identify cost drivers and increase awareness of their impact on profitability.
• Lead cost-refinement initiatives to improve cost projections.
• Improve quoting accuracy and the cost assumptions feeding proposals.
• Partner with sales to develop and approve complex customer proposals.
• Support high-quality Statements of Work grounded in reliable cost data.
• Enable multiple complex opportunities with scalable cost and pricing analysis.
