WeldFit is seeking a Cost Analyst to own costing integrity, inventory valuation, and manufacturing variance analysis, translating shop floor activity into actionable financial insights for leadership.

The ideal candidate blends shop floor familiarity with ERP fluency, excels in advanced Excel and financial modeling, and can clearly explain cost drivers and margin performance to finance and operations, including board-level audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related analytical field.
• 4+ years' cost accounting or manufacturing financial analysis experience.
• ERP experience with Infor Cloud Suite Industrial / SyteLine.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP inventory costing (ASC 330).
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update costing (material, labor, overhead) and quantify P&L and inventory impact.
• Develop labor and overhead burden rates and monitor absorption.
• Analyze manufacturing variances and report P&L impact.
• Review BOMs and routings for cost accuracy in ERP.
• Own inventory valuation, cycle counts, and obsolescence review.
• Conduct margin analysis across products and field service work.
• Support quoting with cost build-ups and make-vs-buy decisions.
• Build and refine advanced financial models for forecasting and investments.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost setting.
• Validate data integrity across ERP and reporting tools.
