Job summary

UMB Bank in a remote/part-time capacity seeks an experienced professional to provide medium to complex support for trustee relationships. You will manage client interactions, ensure compliant account setup, and resolve escalated issues while supporting senior staff.

You will handle trust account activities including billing, transactions, and compliance tasks, acting as a SME in ongoing projects and mentoring others. Preference for Master’s and CCTS certification.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• MINIMUM : 5 years of related financial and/or customer relationship management experience.
• PREFERRED : Master’s Degree.
• PREFERRED : CCTS Certified Corporate Trust Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Interact with all levels of customer relationships.
• Responsible for accurate/timely setup of issues on all systems, preparing accounts for compliance review and responding appropriately to compliance exceptions.
• Resolves complex administrative issues and provide support to senior level client staff.
• May provide support to clients outside assigned group.
• Operate independently to service the client and resolve complex/unusual issues.
• Provide day to day support to existing institutional/corporate trust accounts including but not limited to billing, fees, closing, cash/investment transactions, and compliance items.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and represent the team in ongoing projects and efficiencies.
• Provide guidance, mentorship and development to staff, particularly the Associate Relationship Manager.
• Review legal documents to ensure operational mechanics are appropriate.
• Work with corporate legal, compliance and outside legal counsel to negotiate document provisions.
