Job summary

UMB Bank Remote has a part-time Corporate Trust Specialist role supporting trustee client accounts and complex administrative tasks across systems and compliance processes.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in financial services or client relationship management, with preferred Master's and CCTS certification. Remote work and a strong client-relations focus are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 5 years of related financial and/or customer relationship management experience
• Demonstrates strong client relationship management and networking skills
• Demonstrates exceptional written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Interacts with all levels of customer relationships
• Responsible for accurate/timely setup of issues on all systems and compliance review
• Resolves complex administrative issues and supports senior level client staff
• May provide support to clients outside assigned group
• Operate independently to service the client and resolve complex/unusual issues
• Provides day-to-day support to existing institutional/corporate trust accounts including billing, fees, transactions, cash monitoring and compliance
• Serve as a subject matter expert and represent the team in projects and efficiencies
• Provide guidance and development to staff, especially the Associate Relationship Manager
• Submit new business for approval from the new business committee
• Price business based on account structure with Business Development Officer as needed
• Review legal documents to ensure operational mechanics
• Negotiate document provisions with corporate legal and compliance
• Cross-train to learn other Corporate Trust roles
