A well respected and growing law firm seeks a Corporate / Business Transactions Attorney in Raleigh, NC. The role emphasizes mergers and acquisitions, and/or commercial real estate transactions, with a strong transactional background and excellent drafting and negotiation skills.

The ideal candidate will advise clients across industries, manage complex transactions, and build long-term business relationships while contributing to the growth of the firm's transactional practice.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license and in good standing with the applicable state bar.
• Experience in corporate law, business transactions, M&A, or commercial real estate.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in corporate, commercial, and business transactions.
• Structure, negotiate, and document mergers, acquisitions, and other business combinations.
• Draft and review purchase agreements, LOIs, operating and shareholder agreements.
• Advise on entity formation, governance, ownership structures, and general business matters.
• Handle commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leases.
• Draft, review, and negotiate related agreements and financing documents.
• Coordinate due diligence and address client concerns with practical strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues, clients, opposing counsel, and professionals to close transactions.
• Manage multiple matters with attention to detail and high-quality client service.
