Job summary

American Battery Technology Company is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead SEC reporting, ICFR/SOX, and manufacturing costing. You will drive technical accounting research, manage external audits, and guide ERP optimization to support rapid growth.

Ideal candidates have CPA licensure, 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, and a strong background in public-company controllership. This role is anchored in the Accounting and Finance team with cross-functional partnerships.

Qualifications

Active CPA license required.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
12+ years progressive accounting experience.
5+ years in public-company controllership, SEC reporting, or technical accounting leadership.
Deep expertise in US GAAP and SEC reporting.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and file Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and Proxy Statements; support disclosure controls and procedures.
Lead technical accounting research, documentation, and position papers for complex transactions.
Oversee manufacturing accounting, inventory valuation, standard costing, and COGS reporting.
Lead SOX readiness program including ICFR design, testing, remediation, and risk assessment.
Design and maintain ICFR, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective actions.
Drive ERP optimization, reporting automation, and scalable accounting processes for growth.
Present financial reporting, technical analyses, and SOX updates to executives and Audit Committee.
Ensure accurate and timely monthly/quarterly/annual close per US GAAP.
