Job summary

Talent Elite Group is hiring a Corporate Controller in Irvine, onsite, to lead the accounting function during a high-growth phase. The role offers visibility to executive leadership and a direct impact on scaling the business.

You’ll own the close, U.S. GAAP reporting, and the controls environment while supporting ERP selection (NetSuite preferred) and future M&A activity. A Big 4–trained CPA with public company or tech experience thrives in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• CPA required; Big 4 or national firm background strongly preferred
• 5–10+ years of experience in public company or high-growth tech environments
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting
• Ability to write Ks and Qs
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and implementations
• SOX and internal controls
• Proven ability to scale processes, shorten close, and improve reporting
• Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality with strong leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly/quarterly close and deliver accurate, timely financials
• Lead U.S. GAAP reporting, including technical accounting (ASC 606, 842)
• Drive ERP selection and implementation
• Build and enhance internal controls (SOX readiness)
• Partner cross-functionally to improve financial visibility and decision-making
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Support SEC reporting and external audits
• Hire, develop, and scale a high-performing accounting team
• Support M&A and integration efforts
