Job summary

REV, a leader in speech technology, is seeking a hands-on Director, Corporate Controller to scale the accounting organization. You will own financial reporting, accounting operations, payroll, and month-end close, building scalable controls for a fast-moving AI-native business.

You will partner with Finance, People, Legal, Revenue Operations, and Engineering to ensure accurate reporting and operational excellence, while developing a high-performing finance team in a hybrid Austin environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience as Controller, Assistant Controller, or senior accounting leader in high-growth tech/SaaS.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Experience managing month-end close and external audits.
• Experience overseeing payroll, AP, and general accounting operations.
• Strong systems mindset with process automation emphasis.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional partnering skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting function ensuring accurate financial reporting under US GAAP.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close with focus on speed, accuracy, and automation.
• Prepare and review financial statements and schedules.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and internal controls.
• Support external audits, tax compliance, and statutory reporting.
• Partner with CFO on accounting strategy, FP&A support, cash management, and special projects.
• Collaborate with payroll, revenue, and HR on related financial processes.
• Drive automation and AI-enabled improvements across accounting operations.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA strongly preferred
