Job summary

Liberty Waste Solutions & Waste Eliminator seeks a Corporate Controller to lead accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls across entities. The role reports to the CFO and manages the accounting team, partnering with operations and lenders.

Based in Raleigh, NC, the position requires a CPA, 8+ years of experience, and strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and multi-entity consolidation. Candidates must excel in process improvement and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required; 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Minimum 3+ years in a controller or senior accounting management role; supervisory experience.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidation and U.S. GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day accounting activities and month/quarter/year close.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Oversee revenue recognition for collection, disposal and recycled-commodity services.
• Lead internal controls, external audits, and regulatory reporting obligations.
• Support treasury functions, budgeting processes and ERP optimization.
