Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a private equity-backed services leader to hire a Financial Controller in New Jersey. This role partners with executive leadership to drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across multiple entities and locations.

The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of progressive finance experience, strong ERP/BI skills, and a proven ability to influence business decisions through insightful financial analysis and strategic

Qualifications

8+ years of progressive accounting, finance, and FP&A experience.
Experience supporting multi-entity and multi-location organizations.
Strong financial modeling and partnership with operations.

Responsibilities

Partner with executive leadership to drive financial performance and strategic initiatives.
Lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial modeling.
Analyze performance across entities/locations to identify trends and risks.
Develop KPI reporting, dashboards, and operational metrics.
Provide recommendations on profitability, pricing, and labor utilization.
Support acquisition integration and executive-level reporting for PE stakeholders.
Monitor actuals vs budgets and forecasts; perform variance analysis.
Drive process improvements and strengthen financial reporting capabilities.
Collaborate with accounting, operations, sales, and leadership to enable growth.
Assist cash flow planning and working capital management.
