Building Services 32BJ Benefit Funds is seeking a Director, Corporate Controller in New York, NY to lead the accounting and finance functions for ~25 staff across multiple funds. You will drive fiscal planning, ensure accurate financial reporting, and advise senior leadership and the Board on complex financial issues.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field and 10+ years’ executive experience, with strong GAAP knowledge, BI tool experience, and cross‑functional collaboration

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
10+ years of executive-level management experience in a large organization.
Proficiency in BI tools to transform accounting and finance departments.
Excellent experience with GAAP in a financial corporate setting.
Experience presenting to Boards of Directors or Trustees.

Responsibilities

Lead Accounting Management Team and align with Finance leadership.
Oversee financial reporting to senior leadership, Board of Trustees, and auditors.
Develop strategic vision for the department and align with organizational goals.
Manage internal and external audits and ensure compliance.
