Job summary

Christy Industrial Holdings is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead the accounting team and drive the company’s financial health in the United States. The role oversees GAAP-compliant reporting, monthly close, audits, and tax compliance while shaping strategy and long-range financial plans across business units.

The position reports to the CFO, supervises multiple accounting functions, and requires a proactive leader who uses technology and AI to improve processes and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Owns all periodic financial reporting and the monthly financial close process, including GAAP-compliant statements and commentary.
• Leads, manages, and coaches accounting staff to strengthen knowledge and internal controls.
• Owns external audits for financial statements, insurance, sales and use tax, and other audits as needed.
• Contributes to strategy formulation and COS planning to maximize profitability.
• Assists with financial planning, budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans for all units.
• Ensures taxes are recorded and paid accurately, coordinating with external preparers.
• Leads day-to-day accounting activities: AR, AP, payroll, credit, fixed assets, GL, reporting.
