Job summary

Pulice is seeking a data-driven Corporate Controller to lead the finance team and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. You will ensure U.S.

GAAP and IFRS compliance, oversee consolidations, project accounting, and revenue recognition for complex construction projects. You will partner with project managers and division leadership to review performance, manage cash flow, and drive improvements in financial reporting, controls, and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• CPA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manages monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and related reporting.
• Oversees budgets, cost control procedures, and allocation of costs between departments, divisions, and projects.
• Maintains compliance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS and ensures revenue recognition for complex construction projects (ASC 606).
• Oversees construction and project accounting activities, including WIP schedules, job cost accounting, EAC/project forecasting, and margin analysis.
• Reviews EAC forecasts, contingencies, productivity assumptions, and project margins; identifies changes in profitability and potential losses.
• Partners with Project Managers, Operations, and Division leadership to review financial performance, risks, and margin changes.
• Oversees accounts receivable, accounts payable, project billing, collections, and working capital activities.
• Oversees cash management, including forecasting, reconciliations, banking controls, and liquidity requirements.
• Manages complex consolidations and balance sheet reconciliations to maintain a healthy balance sheet.
• Ensures data integrity across financial and operational systems and drives reporting accuracy.
• Maintains knowledge of JD Edwards and improves reporting, automation, and controls.
• Develops and improves accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls; fixes deficiencies.
• Acts as financial liaison to CFO and partners with Corporate and Division Finance on risks and corrective actions.
• Supports CFO with financial analysis and strategic decision-making.
• Leads accounting team at corporate office with backup responsibilities and succession planning.
• Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of reporting and controls.
• Proactively identifies risks and escalates material matters to CFO.
• Coordinates audits and prepares audit documentation and responses to inquiries.
• Prepares regulatory reporting using applicable standards and practices.
• Ensures timely close and post-month-end control checks; oversees payroll processes and reconciliations.
