The Trustees, Castle Hill at the Crane Estate in Ipswich, MA, seeks a Sales & Events Manager to drive wedding, corporate, and private event sales. You’ll collaborate with exclusive catering partners, manage the events calendar, and ensure flawless execution from inquiry to post-event follow-up.

We value consultative sales, relationship-building, and strong organizational skills to maximize venue utilization and revenue across our premier event portfolio.

Formación

• 5–9 years of sales and management experience in hospitality, preferably at cultural institutions
• 2+ years of self-managed experience coordinating weddings, corporate events, and other private events
• Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and closing skills with a hospitality mindset
• Degree from an accredited college or university, or comparable experience

Responsabilidades

• Act as the main contact for wedding and private event bookings at your venue, guiding inquiries, tours, and bookings
• Own annual booking, revenue, profitability, and utilization goals for assigned venue(s)
• Partner with caterer, photographers, planners to promote venue and drive new business
• Oversee event planning, coordination, and day-of execution for assigned events
• Maintain event calendars, communicate details clearly to stakeholders, and manage vendors
• Ensure adherence to Trustees policies, historic preservation requirements, safety, and operations
• Supervise setup, staffing, and post-event follow-up
• Deliver exemplary client experiences from inquiry through execution
• Identify opportunities to connect clients with additional Trustees experiences and memberships
• Maintain accurate records in venue management systems
• Evaluate event success and pursue continuous improvement
• Collaborate across venues to maximize enterprise-wide revenue growth
