Job summary

ATD BOOKKEEPING SOLUTIONS OF OAKLAN is seeking a knowledgeable Accountant to join the team. You will document financial transactions, prepare financial statements, and manage payroll. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and versed in best accounting practices.

Reporting directly to the Owner, this role requires strong GAAP knowledge, proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive financial data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
• QuickBooks Expert (Testing Required).
• MS Office Advanced User.
• ADP Platform knowledge.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills are a must.
• Confidentiality a must.

Responsibilities

• Enter financial data and transactions.
• Analyze budgets and other financial information.
• Reconcile bank statements.
• Prepare financial reports and statements.
• Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Create accounting policies to comply with all rules and regulations.
• Process payroll.
