Kforce Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant in New York to lead month-end and year-end close processes, perform reconciliations, and support audit activities. You will prepare variance analyses, reports for management, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen internal controls.

The role requires 2+ years of audit or accounting experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting, and proficiency with NetSuite and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 2+ years of audit and/or accounting experience.
• Experience with management reporting and multi-entity reconciliations.
• Proficiency in NetSuite and advanced Excel.
• CPA or parts passed strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely reconciliations of all accounts (balance sheet, income statement, multiple banks, etc.).
• Perform detailed account reconciliations, including cash, accruals, and multiple bank accounts.
• Prepare variance analysis, and management reports.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in records.
• Assist with an ERP software data integration and "go live" process.
• Work with internal teams to ensure financial controls and compliance.
• Assist with audit preparation and provide support to external auditors.
