Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA candidate or parts passed (CPA preferred).
• 2 years of public accounting experience.
• 5 days in office.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes for multiple entity locations, ensuring timely reconciliations of all accounts (balance sheet, income statement, multiple banks).
• Perform detailed account reconciliations, including cash-flow and treasury-related accounts.
• Prepare variance analyses and detailed management reports.
• Support process controls and efficiency initiatives.

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Corporate Accountant onsite in NYC. This is an exceptional opportunity to transition directly out of public accounting into the private sector for a merger/integration focused firm.

• Accountant will lead month-end and year-end close process for multiple entity locations, ensuring timely reconciliations of all accounts, (balance sheet, income statement, multiple banks, etc.)
• Perform detailed account reconciliations, including cash-flow, and other treasury-related accounts
• Prepare variance analysis, including detailed management reports
• Support process controls and efficiency initiatives
• As an Accountant, you will work with internal teams to ensure financial controls and compliance
• Assist with audit preparation and provide support to external auditors

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Parts passed or certified CPA
• 2 years of public accounting experience
• 5 days in office

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
