Kforce's client in San Francisco, CA is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support general accounting operations, month-end and quarter-end close, financial reporting, and analysis. You will own key activities and partner with leadership to ensure timely reporting.

Responsibilities include journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany accounting, SOX controls, and assist with tax packages. Strong Excel and ERP experience (Oracle/SAP) are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong general accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Experience with month-end and quarter-end close.
• Strong journal entry and account reconciliation experience.
• Financial analysis and variance analysis experience.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Perform month-end and quarter-end close activities.
• Prepare and post journal entries and supporting schedules.
• Complete balance sheet and general ledger account reconciliations.
• Perform financial analysis, including Balance Sheet and P&L variance analysis.
• Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Support quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements.
• Assist with SOX testing, internal controls, and audit activities.
• Support annual tax package preparation.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Partner with business leaders on financial matters.
• Support special accounting projects, process improvements, and transformation initiatives.
• Maintain proactive communication regarding deadlines, deliverables, and responsibilities.
