Job summary

Jobtailor in New York, NY seeks a Business Manager/COO Vice President to partner with the Head of Risk Solutions, Americas and support the Sales team in overseeing a $65m+ business. You will drive financial planning, manage budgets, and lead cross-functional initiatives across risk, governance, and IT support.

Responsibilities include leading P&L management, cost allocations, and KPI-driven performance while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience and skills appropriate to the Business Manager/COO Vice President role.
• Proficiency with Salesforce, Rogo AI, UpSlide, Microsoft suite, Slack, Asana and Jira.
• Knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, P&L management, cost allocations and budgeting.
• Knowledge of financial resources, balance sheets, ROE, RWA and internal capital measurements.
• Experience with risk exposure reporting, MPE and LEQs.
• Knowledge of front-to-back business operations, process management and IT support models.
• Knowledge of financial regulations including CFTC and EMIR.
• Experience with compliance, ESG, regulatory, risk, audit and operational initiatives.
• Experience partnering with Legal, Compliance, Risk, IT, HR and Corporate divisions.
• If hired in the U.S. for the Finance Division of NHA, must be currently authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic partner to the Head of Risk Solutions, Americas, supporting the Sales team
• Cover the full product suite including fund-level, asset-level, share-class and deal-contingent hedging
• Act as point person between corporate functions and the Risk Solutions Group
• Lead financial planning and management for a $65m+ business
• Diagnose operational flaws and redesign processes to improve scalability, control and commercial impact
• Shape and implement strategic initiatives, operating procedures, execution plans and measurable KPIs
• Track business performance, revenue trends and market conditions
• Drive operational-efficiency and cost-saving initiatives
• Lead new-product approval and new-transaction committee processes
• Formulate revenue and capital budgets, forecasts and medium-term plans
• Oversee P&L management, cost allocations, budgeting and business performance
• Manage expense policies, cost-efficiency initiatives and resource allocation
• Create and monitor salesperson business metrics, revenue targets and profitability measures
• Manage financial resources and balance sheets using ROE, RWA and internal capital metrics
• Monitor risk exposure and portfolio concentration using MPE and LEQs
• Supervise front-to-back operations, process management and IT support
• Direct cross-functional delivery of strategic initiatives
• Oversee regulatory, risk, governance, compliance and operational resilience programmes
• Manage operational risks, internal controls, audits and regulatory reporting
• Sponsor the technology book of work and roadmap
• Drive technology infrastructure, transformation, automation and digitalization
• Implement data analytics and reporting solutions
• Manage the line of business, including budget, functions and managerial/professional staff
• Oversee resource planning, recruitment, training, mentorship and change adoption
• Partner with HR on employee engagement, performance evaluation and DEI goals
